Terms of Service

1. Service description

Lodestar Prep provides SAT, ACT, and AP test-preparation content and tooling. The service has two surfaces: a self-enroll surface for individual students, and a managed surface used by tutoring centres to provide content to their students. The service is delivered through the website at lodestarprep.com.

2. Accounts

Self-enroll students create their account by signing in with a magic link to their email. Centre-bound students receive their account from their tutoring centre. Lodestar Prep does not transfer accounts between students; an account, once bound to a person, belongs to that person.

3. Payment and seats

Centres purchase per-student "seats" from Lodestar Prep for a fixed duration agreed up front. When a seat expires, the student loses visibility of the course but Lodestar Prep preserves all study progress for the same parent identifier; renewing extends the same seat and restores access.

4. Content

All quiz, exam, and theory content is owned by Lodestar Prep and licensed for personal study use. Reproducing or redistributing the content outside of the service is not permitted without written consent.

5. Acceptable use

Don't share your account with anyone. Don't attempt to bypass the access controls (the seat-based visibility model is what protects paying customers' content). Don't use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." Lodestar Prep works toward content quality and accuracy but does not guarantee a specific test outcome. Your real score depends on many factors beyond this product.
